A profile of me appeared in this month's (April 2016) edition of Downbeat Magazine. Bill Meyer (Chicago Reader, Downbeat, Dusted Magazine) called Life After Life "... an extraordinary debut." You can read the profile here.

New York jazz writer David R. Adler included Life After Life in his Top Ten jazz releases for March 2016. I'm honored that Life After Life was included alongside recordings by some of my favorite musicians - Ralph Alessi, Marc Copland, Herlin Riley and Dan Weiss. David's blog is Lerterland. He teaches jazz history at the Aaron Copland School of Music (Queens College - CUNY) and writes forJazzTimesThe Village VoiceStereophile, and The New York City Jazz Records amongst others.

Troy Collins gave Life After Life 4.5/5 stars in All About Jazz. He had some very complimentary words to say about my drumming and the music on the recording. You can read his thoughtful review here.

I really enjoyed Bill Meyer's recent review in Dusted Magazine. Regarding "Seeds of Doubt", one of the pieces on Life After Life, Bill described it as "... a world where Jimmy Guiffre and Augustus Pablo could sit down and work up a tune together." Yes, that's what I'm talking about!
